Order Free Flooring Samples

Choosing flooring from a screen is difficult. Colours shift depending on the light in your room, textures feel different in person, and a shade that looks perfect on a website can look completely different against your walls and furniture.

That is why we encourage every customer to order samples before they buy. It costs nothing and could save you from a costly mistake.

How to Order Samples

Ordering samples from Select Line is straightforward:

  1. Browse our range and note down the products you are interested in - the product name and SKU code are shown on every product page
  2. Email us at emjflooringuk@gmail.com with your name, delivery address and the products you would like samples of
  3. We will send samples out to you - typically within 1 to 3 working days

We ask that you request no more than six samples at a time so we can keep up with demand. If you need more, just send a follow-up request once the first batch arrives.

What You Will Receive

Sample sizes vary by manufacturer, but are typically large enough to give you a genuine sense of the colour, texture and finish. We include samples in their standard format as supplied by the manufacturer.

For Karndean and Moduleo LVT products, samples are individual planks or tiles. For Quick-Step laminate and engineered wood, samples are cut sections showing the surface and edge profile.

Tips for Assessing Samples at Home

  • Place the sample on the floor in the room you intend to floor, not on a table
  • Look at it in both natural daylight and your artificial lighting - colours can shift significantly between the two
  • Hold it up against your walls, skirting boards and any adjacent flooring you are keeping
  • If you are choosing between two similar shades, place them side by side on the floor
  • Live with the samples for a day or two before deciding - first impressions can be misleading
